Kind, Competent, Accessible Psychiatry
I am a psychiatrist based in San Francisco, practicing primarily in California and Colorado. I have designed my practice to meet the needs of individuals and families for whom classic psychiatric models and their practitioners have proven burdensome and/or ineffective. I am trained to work with people of all ages but I’ve found that my practice tracks best with adolescents (11-~25 yo) and adults of all ages (including the most elderly).
Using modern tools for communication, I am able to provide fast, convenient, state of the art care without the need for brick and mortar office visits during work hours.
My practice includes medication management and psychotherapeutic techniques ranging from mindfulness tools to psychodynamic therapy to hard-core behaviorism. Put simply, I work collaboratively with my patients to determine what their primary areas of improvement may be and we help each other find the best tools to improve their lives.
I only work with patients who are interested in actively bettering themselves. If you think we would work well together, please reach out to me directly, not via a family member or another representative.
From its inception in 2018, my practice was constructed around the use of video conferencing tools, which has turned out to be well-suited for the current pandemic environment.
All of my appointments are via video conferencing platforms, starting with a brief, free 15 minute video visit to determine if we are a good fit. If we do decide to move forward, we will begin with 60-90 minute intake appointment(s) – typically one for adults and two for children - in order for us us to collectively determine your needs and how I can best help you reach your goals. Following this, further care will be provided on an as-needed basis, at both of our discretion, utilizing digital means of communication to safely and securely communicate ideas, concerns, and medication management.
My patients have direct access to me via digital channels and can expect prompt responses.
